Family and Community Well-ness

Climate action

We cherish the services of our ecosystems, and as such, make their preservation and restoration a daily commitment. Under our campaign, Green Neighborhoods, we aim to revegetate the Luwero triangle, formerly counted among Central Uganda’s most densely forested areas. We take collective responsibility for all that our planet has become, and therefore encourage collection action to reverse the same.

By empowering and equipping church groups to create tree nursery beds, we aim to harness the growing strength of congregations to drive higher rates of afforestation and reforestation in our communities, and together, we shall leave the world in a livable state for future generations.

Education support

A big number of our change makers are of school going age. Whereas we appreciate their contribution to the long term vision of the Chosen Generation, we acknowledge the importance of their education careers, and therefore work jointly to realize them. It’s a common occurrence that a number of them face the heartbreaking prospect of dropping out of school due to family financial struggles. Through well-wishers, partnerships with school institutions, and a hardship fund financed by friends from around the world, we strive to keep them in school.

Entrepreneurship

As an organization in a growing economy from a developing country, individual success and financial freedom is a result of a composition of many things, an important component of which is the ability to initiate, create, and run small scale business enterprises. At Chosen Generation, our belief in the potential creativity of young minds is unwavering. We support them with knowledge, mentors and financial resources to kick-start their journey to financial independence. Our members’ SACCO allows flexible saving for all and offers financial support either as seed funding, entrepreneurial grants, or working capital.
